vagabond library scientist

hello

I'm Adam. I create things on the internet based on a passion that simplicity in design leads to beauty, functionality and delight.

I was classically trained as a computer scientist at Stanford and as a librarian at the University of Illinois. Previously I was a Product Manager at Google.

timeless

[writing] trenchant.org: I have been writing and publishing things on my personal web site for over ten years. Historically I have posted something (almost) every weekday.

[comedy] Uber.nu is a webzine I cofounded in the late 90's. In it I published an article that defined and popularized the practice of Google Bombing.

[inappropriate] nestography: "The problem with me and video games is that I want them to love me as much as I love them and they can't, so I have to fill in the blanks myself."
